From April 15th to 17th, 2026, the 6th Solid Oxide Cell (SOC) Technology Development and Industry Forum successfully convened at the Qinhuang Holiday Hotel in Chengdu, Sichuan. Centered on the theme "Stepping into the Era of Large-Scale Zero-Carbon SOC," the event gathered top scholars, executives, and industry pioneers to drive the high-quality development of the SOC sector.

Key Insights & Technology
The forum served as a hub for discussing technological innovation and industrial synergy. Notably, Professor Zhou Xiaoliang from Southwest Petroleum University delivered a keynote on Material and Cell System Development for SOC Industrialization, offering a deep dive into overcoming current technical bottlenecks.

SOC technology is gaining traction for its unique dual-mode capability-functioning as both a fuel cell and an electrolyzer. This allows for reversible energy conversion (Electricity ↔ Chemical Energy) with efficiency rates far exceeding traditional technologies. Crucially, SOC systems eliminate the need for precious metal catalysts like platinum, offering a cost-effective solution for green hydrogen production, CO₂ utilization, and distributed energy.

Our Highlight: Precision Laser Cutting
Amidst the academic exchanges, practical manufacturing solutions took center stage.

On the exhibition stands of the participating enterprises, hydrogen fuel cell sheets precisely cut by Yuchang laser precision cutting machine were prominently displayed. The edges were smooth without burrs and did not affect the material properties at all.

They became a major highlight of the exhibition stand, attracting many experts, scholars and enterprise representatives to stop by for observation, consultation and exchange of ideas.
