Specific Workpieces: Zirconia ceramic surgical scissor blades, forceps tips, insulating components for minimally invasive surgical instruments, etc.
Applications: Shape cutting and drilling of these small, high-strength, corrosion-resistant ceramic components. Nanosecond lasers can efficiently accomplish these tasks, and heat-affected zones can be removed through subsequent polishing or fine grinding.

Applications: Machining various irregularly shaped holes, channels, and external contours. The programming flexibility of nanosecond lasers makes them ideal for small-batch, multi-variety medical device production.
Specific Applications: Nanosecond fiber lasers are not used for cutting, but for laser marking. Serial numbers, batch numbers, specifications, and even company logos can be permanently marked on zirconia implants or surgical instruments. This is a key step in medical product traceability (UDI requirements) and anti-counterfeiting.
